Day 1
Welcome to Quito! We're so happy you're here
​
When you arrive in Quito, we'll be there to greet you with a private vehicle and an English-speaking guide. We'll take you to our hotel in the modern city centre of Quito.
Day 2
We asked the experts and were really lucky to get some great insights!

We were lucky enough to team up with the wonderful #elMango, a talented photographer from Quito, to explore the largest and most impressive colonial city in the Americas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our tour took us through some really lovely, narrow streets and beautiful old churches. As we passed the huge Basilica, we headed to the heart of the city – the Plaza Grande and the magnificent churches of La Compañía and San Francisco. And there we will have a lovely photo session together! You'll find the locations with the green Instagram icon on the city map. Have fun taking photos and we'll see you on Instagram!
Day 3
Let's go! We're off to the spa paradise of the highlands!
Today we're off to Papallacta, the gateway to the jungle. A landscape of great beauty awaits us, leading us to an impressive mountain world with hot springs. The hot springs are known as the most beautiful in the country, and they're rich in nutrients but odourless and colourless.
It's the perfect place for an unforgettable bathing experience! The idyllic, relaxing nature of the area makes it the perfect spot for a truly memorable soak.

We're in for a real treat today! We're going on a fabulous trail at an altitude of around 3,300 metres, where we'll get to explore different ecosystems, from páramo to cloud forest. And then we can relax in the cloud forest! On a clear day, we can even see the Antisana volcano! We'll be spending the night in the lovely thermal baths of Papallacta.
Day 4
"Avenue of the Volcanoes" Cotopaxi
In the morning, we'll be taken by bus to the car park at 4,500m. Together, we'll climb 300 metres to the refuge "José Rivas" (4,800m). The views from this point are absolutely breathtaking!
On a clear day, you can see up to 8 volcanoes.
With a 360° view, we'll have our unforgettable Pachamama Rutial!
Day 5
Colourful Baños

Welcome to Baños! After breakfast, we'll take a fascinating drive along the Pastaza Canyon on the Waterfalls Route. The jungle is absolutely teeming with life! You'll see orchids, butterflies, birds and more than 50 waterfalls, creating a spectacular green landscape. The most famous one is the impressive Pailón del Diablo (Devil's Pan), which we'll visit on a lovely walk.
In the afternoon, we'll be diving into the passionate world of salsa with some friendly and professional instructors. "Salsa is not just a dance, it's a way of life! And at the end of the day, we'll also learn all about the nightlife in Baños!
Day 6
Guess where we're going today! The closest point to the sun on earth, Chimborazo!

We've got a great mountain adventure planned. We'll be hiking through the national park, and we'll get to enjoy the most fascinating and breathtaking panorama! Chimborazo is the highest mountain in the Ecuadorian Andes, and it's absolutely stunning!
The summit is also the point furthest away from the earth's centre because it's located near the equator. Now that we're all feeling good and ready to go, we head off to the second refuge (Refugio Whymper) at 5,000 m. The view from the top is absolutely fantastic!
Then we head off to Ingapirca, which is the most important Inca site in Ecuador. We'll be staying overnight at Posada de Ingapirca.
Day 7
Charming Cuenca

Welcome to the wonderful city of Cuenca! And it's also a UNESCO cultural heritage site!
The city has been shaped by many different people over the years, including the Canaris, Incas, French Jesuits and gold-addicted Spaniards. Our city tour takes us through the main square, where we'll see the old and new cathedral, flower market, and hat factory.

There's nothing better than getting to know a country through its food! Let's dive into a world of tastes, colours and smells together!

Day 8
Underground thermal tour in Cuenca and then on to Guayaquil
​
We're going to let ourselves be pampered in one of Ecuador's most beautiful thermal baths. We'll start with a bath of red thermal mud, blue thermal mud and a mineral salt therapy that will energise and rejuvenate us and give us a unique feeling of well-being. This is followed by a thermal shock experience in the hot and cold thermal baths, which opens and closes the skin's pores.
After that, the aromatic steam baths will help to relax your body and release toxins from your body. Then, in the afternoon, we'll head on to Guayaquil.
Day 9
The Galapagos Islands fascinating San Christobal

Welcome to the beautiful and unique natural world of the Galapagos Islands! San Cristóbal is the perfect place to start your adventure. On arrival, you'll be blown away by the natural spectacle. Sea lions, frigate birds, blue-footed boobies, Darwin's finches and much more will greet you.
We'll also visit the best information centre on the islands and the Tijeretas. There, we learn more about how the islands were formed and the amazing reasons that have made the Galapagos a natural wonder. During our hike, we enjoy breathtaking views of Wreck Bay to the south and Kicker Rock to the west.
Day 10
A little treasure of San Cristobal!
If you're looking for a nature spot right by the harbour, you've got to check out the island of Lobos. It is home to a wonderful colony of Galapagos sea lions, blue-footed boobies and frigate birds. It's a real paradise on land and underwater!
And the best part is… You can even swim with sea lions, green turtles, rays and colourful fish! And if you’re really lucky, you might even get to see white-tipped reef sharks and sea lizards!

Day 11
What an impressive Española!
​
Guess what! Today is a special day. We're going to visit one of the most fascinating island in the whole archipelago, Española!
Española is home to some pretty amazing creatures, and its remoteness is probably one of the reasons why. Española is home to some pretty special creatures, including the Española mockingbird, the Española lizard and the Galapagos albatross.
And there’s more! The Española giant tortoise is one of the most famous conservation success stories in the Galapagos.
Day 12
Time to head home!
In the morning, we'll be setting off on our journey back to our loved ones. So, it's time to head home on the return flight, or perhaps you'd like to continue on to the Pacific?
